THE BODY OF a man discovered at an apartment in Ballymun on 5 December has been identified as 31-year-old Kamal El Habsati, a Dutch citizen of Moroccan descent.
The man was found stabbed to death on the first floor of the Linnbhla apartment complex at Santry Cross, Ballymun in North Dublin. It is believed he may have been dead for several days before being found.
The Dutchman had been living and working in Dublin for some time and shared the apartment with a male housemate, who gardaí have been trying to locate.
Today gardaí said the murder investigation is ongoing.
