WE KNOW HOW you feel.

It’s Tuesday, it’s freezing cold, and there’s still too many days to go until the weekend.

So do like we do here in TheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing issues.

Possibly.

This week: With sixteen days to go, a lot of Christmas trees are up and looking good. But there’s a sneaky dilemma when it comes to decorating them.

Do you put the lights on first and then decorate around them? Or do you put up the decorations and then niftily work the lights around them? Is one way better than the other? Or is this just overthinking it?

So what do you do?

Poll Results:

Lights first, then decorations (7985)
Decorations first, followed by lights (789)
I just like voting in polls even when I don't have an opinion (391)
Whichever I happen to pick up first. No biggie. (92)
I deliberately mix it up because I'm wild (54)
