The young Indian boy holds the world record for the person born with most fingers and toes.

AN INDIAN BOY born with 34 fingers and toes has had surgery to remove his excess digits.

The one-year-old boy, Akshat Saxena, is from Uttar Pradesh in northern India.

The Australian Telegraph reports that according to Guinness World Records the boy had seven fingers on each hand and 10 toes on each foot, which is due to a condition know as polydactyly.

The record for most fingers and toes was previously held by a boy in China who was born with 15 fingers and 16 toes.
