Pearse Farrell of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks is acting as receiver for the group, and is selling the bars alongside original owners, brother Des and Liam O’Dwyer.
The 1,300 square metre Café en Seine was one of the most well-known bars of Dublin’s boomtime social scene, and has managed to survive the downturn as well.
The combined annual gross turnover of the four pubs is in excess of €13.5 million, with the deadline for binding bids 4 July 2014.
The properties are being sold by CBRE.
In a statement, the seller said that the sale represents “a superb and very rare opportunity to acquire a portfolio of Dublin’s most iconic, well known and popular licensed premises.”
