A CAR AND a Luas have collided at a busy junction in Dublin’s city centre this morning.
The collision occurred at about 10am at the junction of Benburb Street and Queen Street, close to the quays.
Gardaí, paramedics and the fire service are currently at the scene but there are no reports of injuries.
It is understood that the Luas was blocking Benburb Street for a period and gardaí are advising motorists to avoid the area, with diversions in place. On Twitter the Luas is reporting delays on the Red Line but said that the line is now fully reopened.
