SOME CATS HAVE all the luck… and others still haven’t met their human life partner.
That’s why the DSCPCA held a cat ‘speed dating’ event today, where felines could meet The One who could give them a loving home just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Natasha Eames of the DSPCA brought TheJournal.ie around for a quick speed-date with some of the cats, like Mango and Lizzie.

The speed-dating is part of DSPCA’s Feline February, where they’re running lots of events including days for the micro chipping, spaying and neutering of cats
“We’re trying to match up some of our single lonely kittens and cats,” said Eames.
People are particularly looking for cats that will get on with their own cat in their own home. A lot of people have lost their own cat and maybe they’ve seen the advertisements going on for our lonely cats and they’ve decided to pop up to the shelter and meet their match as well.
These two lucky cats met their match just moments before we visited:

If you can’t call into the DSPCA today, rest assured that they always have lonely cats looking for homes, like this fella:

Plus, the association ensures that all cats it adopts out are neutered and micro-chipped, to make sure there are fewer lonesome felines in the future.
A charge of €80 applies to adopt a cat, but this includes vaccination and neutering.
