Christmas Eve court appearance for drug suspects

The expected charges are in connection with a €1 million seizure yesterday.

TWO MEN WILL appear in court tomorrow morning, Christmas Eve, charged in relation to the seizure of €1 million worth of cannabis plants.

The two suspects, aged in their 30s and 40s, were arrested and questioned following a search of an industrial unit on the Nangor Road in Dublin.

Operation Nitrogen is specifically targeting the cultivation of cannabis plants and information led gardaí from Ballyfermot and the National Drugs Unit to the premises.

Their court appearance will be at the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am tomorrow.
