CYBER MONDAY HAS become a handy marketing tool for businesses – especially in the run up to Christmas.

Originating in the US in 2005 on the Monday after Thanksgiving, the aim is to encourage people to shop online by offering discounts. Since then, Cyber Monday has turned into a marketing success, and is used by Irish businesses to encourage spending.

As we’re just a few weeks out from the festive season, we’re asking you: will you be starting your Christmas shopping on Cyber Monday?

Poll Results:

No (4147)
Yes (1104)
I'll be browsing for myself (1077)
Maybe, I don't know (990)
