Three charged in connection with seizure of €225,000 worth of cannabis

One woman arrested earlier has been released without charge.

THREE PEOPLE HAVE been charged in connection with the seizure of close to a quarter of a million euro worth of cannabis.

Gardaí from the Divisional Crime Task Force and Clondalkin Drug Unit carried out a planned search a house at Oldchurch Avenue in Clondalkin, west Dublin, shortly before 8pm last night.

Three males and one female were arrested at the scene, all aged in their twenties to late thirties.

The woman arrested has been released without charge.

The three men are scheduled to appear before Blanchardstown District Court tomorrow morning, charged in connection with the seizure.

The cannabis herb seized has an estimated street value of €225,00. The drug is currently pending analysis.

A number of mobile phones were also seized in the raid, as well as drug paraphernalia.
