Two Cute

A lucky zoo has just welcomed these beautiful endangered clouded leopard kittens

We want one.

THE CLOUDED LEOPARD is a beautiful Asian cat which is now very rarely seen in the wild.

We know very little about their population but they are seen as vulnerable, according to National Geographic.

It is thought that fewer than 10,000 of them reside in the forests of South East Asia.

This week, Zoo Miami revealed its two latest additions to its animal family. Their two female clouded leopard kittens were born to parents Serai and Rajasi.

The little ladies were born on 9 March but have been kept under wraps until now to “avoid any external stress and allow the mother to properly bond with them”.

“Both offspring are doing well and the mother continues to be attentive and nurse them on a regular basis,” the zoo said.

They already sport the clouded leopard’s characteristic large, dark and cloud-like spots on a light background.

The zoo has asked for its customers help to choose between six possible names for the sisters – Malee (Flower), Avani (Earth), Lila (Playful), Priya (Beloved), Suree (Sun), Suma (also flower).
