Cork: Two seriously injured after car collides with wall

Three other occupants of the car were also injured and taken by ambulance to hospital.

TWO MEN WERE seriously injured in a collision in Cork today.

Gardaí said that at approximately 12.30pm two males, believed to be aged in their 30s and 50s, were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a wall at Whitechurch Village.

They were taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital. Three other occupants of the car, who were all males aged in their late teens and 20s, were also taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.

The road is closed and traffic diversions are in place. Forensic collision investigators have been notified to attend.
