A MOTORCYCLIST HAS died after his bike struck a ditch in Co Cork this morning.
It happened at Cousane on the Kealkil to Coppeen Rd (R585), also known as the Bantry Line, at around 11.10am.
The 68-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to the morgue at Cork University Hospital.
No one else was injured.
A section of the road has been closed as forensic tests are carried out, and diversions have been put in place.
