Since 2015, Guinness has been the most popular drink in the Dáil bar.

A PINT OF Guinness is the most popular beverage among drinkers in the Dáil bar.

Figures released to TheJournal.ie by the Houses of the Oireachtas under the Freedom of Information, reveals that a pint of the black stuff has been the most popular drink since 2015.

A pint of Guinness in the Dáil bar will cost you €4.40, as will a pint of Smithwicks. Long necks like Budweiser and Miller will set you back €5.00, while a measure of gin, rum or vodka costs €4.50.

The second most popular drink is a glass of the special Oireachtas wine, which is followed by a pint of Heineken.

A bottle of the Oireachtas Merlot and Oireachtas Sauvignon will set you back €21.50.

The fourth most popular drink in the Dáil bar can vary from time to time.
