YESTERDAY, SOPHIE FINN took a look at the growing trendiness of Beamish, a stout which seems to be having something of a ‘moment’.

Fans of the drink told The Journal that the Cork-born stout is loved for its creamy taste, local heritage, and affordability.

Its popularity mirrors a broader trend: more young people in their 20s and 30s are discovering stouts, seeking alternatives to mainstream beers.
