Two arrested in 2002 murder case investigation
The two men were arrested this morning and are detained at Tallaght garda station.
TWO MEN HAVE been arrested by gardaí investigating a 2002 murder.
The two men, who are aged in their 30s, were arrested by gardaí investigating the murder of David McCreevy in Tallaght on 1 February 2002.
Both men were arrested during an operation this morning by detectives from Tallaght Garda Station and members of the Special Detective Unit.
The men are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939, at Tallaght garda station.
David McCreevy was shot dead outside a neighbour’s house at Belgard Heights in Tallaght in 2002.
