Device explodes beside car in Finglas
There were people in the house the device exploded outside, but no one was injured.
A SUSPECT DEVICE exploded beside a car outside a house in a Finglas park last night.
Gardaí in Finglas are investigating the explosion, which occurred outside a house on Mellowes Road at approximately 11.15pm last night.
The explosion occurred in a driveway beside a car. There were people present in the house at the time of the explosion.
No one was injured in the incident.
The area has been sealed off for technical examination.
Finglas gardaí are appealing for witnesses and matter is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Finglas garda station on 01 666 7500.
