MANY PEOPLE WERE surprised to wake up to the news that Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States.
A lot of people expected the race to be close, with most polls predicting Hillary Clinton would become the first female US president.
But, as we’ve learned more than once before, polls can wrong – sometimes very wrong.
The election campaign has been extremely divisive in the US and beyond – with Trump making questionable statements about women, immigrants and Muslims, among others.
Some people are taking to Twitter to vent their frustration at the result – with #HesNotMyPresident trending.
However, many other people are delighted with Trump’s victory, believing he will ‘Make America Great Again’.
We want to know what you think. Tell us in the comments section how you feel about Trump’s victory.
