Man due in court over 120k cocaine haul in Carlow

Gardaí seized the cocaine during a search of two houses in Carlow on Sunday.

A MAN IN his 40s is due to appear before Kilkenny District Court this morning charged in connection with a seizure of cocaine in Carlow.

Gardaí seized cocaine worth an estimated €120,000 from two houses in Carlow during a search on Sunday. The search was part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drugs being sold and distributed in the south-east of the country.

A woman in her 30s who was also arrested in connection with the drugs seizure on Sunday was released yesterday morning.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
