WE’RE USED TO seeing Enda Kenny, our Taoiseach, looking pretty sharp with cuffs and a nice, tailored dark suit but it’s August and he’s on holidays.
That means he can take a few days off from shaving and shed that fancy threads for a pair of light blue jeans.
And that’s exactly what Enda is up to on his holliers in Killarney where he has been spending a few days at Malton Hotel where former president Mary McAleese and her husband and former senator Martin McAleese are also staying.
All look to be having a good time with The Malton posting a couple of images on its Facebook page earlier today.
Elsewhere it looks as if the Taoiseach has used his time off to take the opportunity to sign up to Vine, the short-form video sharing service that has taken Twitter by storm in recent months.
As you may know we’re partial to the odd political Vine and we hope to see a few from the Taoiseach in the coming months.
Ice bucket challenge, anyone?
