1. #PEACE DEAL: Palestinians freed from Israeli captivity have arrived in the cities of Khan Younis and Ramallah. Their release from Israeli detention came after Hamas released all of the remaining living hostages from Gaza Strip as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel.

2. #HISTORIC DAWN: Donald Trump today told the Israeli parliament that the ceasefire he helped broker in Gaza has ushered in the “historic dawn of a new Middle East”.

3. #PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: Former Labour leader Brendan Howlin confirmed he is backing Catherine Connolly in the presidential election, despite Heather Humphreys sharing a photograph with him over the weekend.

4. #MILKING IT: SuperValu confirmed it will reduce the price of its own-brand milk following similar reductions by a number of other Irish supermarket chains in recent days.

5. #IAN WATKINS: Two inmates in the UK have appeared in court charged with murdering former Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins at the HMP Wakefield prison.
