Fisherman dies after falling overboard off Mayo

A FISHERMAN has died after falling overboard from his vessel off the cost of Mayo this morning. A search and rescue operation was launched by the Coastguard based in Malin Head, and the fisherman was recovered from the water, but he was pronounced dead on arrival at Sligo General Hospital a short time later.
