Four men arrested over Inchicore stabbing

Men arrested in the Drimnagh area of Dublin city.

FOUR MEN HAVE been arrested by gardaí in relation to the murder of 19 year old David Byrne on Saturday night.

The victim was stabbed up to five times in the side and back and died after being attacked in the car park of the Emmet Court apartment block in Inchicore.

This morning, gardaí arrested four males, aged in the mid to late teens, in the Drimnagh area of the city.

Two of them are being held under Section 30 of Offences Against the State Act, while the others are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Earlier today, gardaí announced they had uncovered weapons during a search related to Mr Byrne’s death.
