GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of their colleague Detective Adrian Donohoe are to make a renewed appeal for information this afternoon.
Assistant Commissioner Kieran Kenny and Superintendent Gerard Curley will focus on two new lines of enquiry during a press briefing at headquarters in Dublin later today.
There will also be further details of the Crimestoppers appeal announced by Paula Eager. A reward of €50,000 for information remains in place, having been offered by the Irish League of Credit Unions.
Donohoe, 41, was shot dead on Friday, 25 January during an armed robbery at Lordship Credit Union in Bellurgan, Jenkinstown in county Louth.
Earlier this month, Commissioner Martin Callinan said the investigation was closing in on the murder suspects.
