THE STUDENTS’ UNION at NUI Galway are celebrating their 50th anniversary.
Getting ready for the celebrations, the folks at the students’ union decided to have a look through the old photos hanging around.
What they discovered was an archive of students having fun, protesting and of course plenty of dodgy haircuts.
They’re now trying to identify those in the photos and are asking people to take a few minutes and have a look:
You can trawl through all the old photos on the students’ union Facebook page here.
Watch out for former students’ union presidents Pat Rabbitte, Eamon Gilmore and President Michael D Higgins.
So if you see yourself or someone you know contact studentsunion@nuigalway.ie
The reunion is on in the University on 7 June.
