Anti-garda graffiti and windows smashed at Garda Credit Union overnight

It’s believed someone with a grudge against the gardaí carried out the attack.

‘EXTENSIVE DAMAGE’ WAS caused to a Garda Credit Union in Dublin last night.

It’s believed that up to 50 windows were smashed and anti-garda messages were graffitied on the building on the Naas Road.

A source told TheJournal.ie that it’s believed someone with a grudge against the gardaí carried out the attack.

Gardaí say an investigation is underway but that they don’t know at this stage how many people were involved.

St.Raphael’s Credit Union is for members of An Garda Siochana and their families.

It’s believed that nothing was taken from the building.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
