STEPHEN FRY APPEARS on The Meaning of Life with Gay Byrne this coming Sunday.
When asked – as all guests are – what he’d say to God if he got to the ‘pearly gates’ of heaven, Fry had quite a lot to say:
“I’ll say bone cancer in children…what’s that about? How dare you? How dare you create a world with such misery that is not our fault.
It’s not right. It’s utterly utterly evil. Why should I respect a capricious, mean minded, stupid God who creates a world which is so full of injustice and pain.

The Meaning of Life with Gay Byrne will be aired this Sunday at 10:30pm.
