POLICE IN LONDON are searching for glasses-wearing, goatee-sporting man after the theft of a guitar from a music store.

The robbery happened on the last Friday in August when a man entered the store near Twickenham and took a guitar off the wall and left.

The stolen instrument is a six-stringed ruby red Rickenbacker guitar that is valued at €1,900. It had been hanging on the wall in the front window of the store before it was taken.

Police have released an image of the man they wish to speak with to, describing him as having having brown hair and a goatee-style beard.

He also wore glasses and a light-coloured coat. Naturally.
