POLICE IN LONDON have released footage of a thief with a difference.

The CCTV video shows the robber in question entering a Co-op supermarket on a self-balancing board (or hoverboard as we’re all calling them), calmly floating down an aisle, picking up a crate of Lucozade, and then floating back out the door again without paying.

So calm is the hovering thief that he encounters two customers (who notice nothing amiss) of the shop while making his exit without batting an eyelid.

The theft occurred at the shop in Mitcham, South London, late on the evening of Sunday, 6 September. The thief is described as a black man who was seen wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms.

“Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man captured in the footage,” the Met Police said in a statement.
