HOZIER HAS DROPPED his latest music video, starring none other than Ireland’s darling, Saoirse Ronan.
Saoirse portrays a woman dealing with domestic violence, as the song Cherry Wine was written from the perspective of a male suffering from abuse.
Not only does it have an important message, all proceeds of the single sales will go to domestic abuse charities across the world, including the Irish charity Safe Ireland.
Speaking about the video, Saoirse said:
I hope through the video and song we can shine light on the issue and complexity of domestic abuse and in doing so help those caught up in the cycle of domestic violence.
