Human skull washes up on Galway beach

The skull has now been removed and will be examined at University Hospital Galway.

A HUMAN SKULL has been discovered on a beach near Clifden, Co Galway.

A garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that an adult human skull “washed up” close to Tully pier shortly after 2pm today.

It was removed to University Hospital Galway where it is being examined. A garda investigation has been launched.
