Human skull washes up on Galway beach

The skull has now been removed and will be examined at University Hospital Galway.

A HUMAN SKULL has been discovered on a beach near Clifden, Co Galway.

A garda spokesperson told that an adult human skull “washed up” close to Tully pier shortly after 2pm today.

It was removed to University Hospital Galway where it is being examined. A garda investigation has been launched.
