Israeli minister's wife apologises for 'stupid' tweet about Obama
The talk-show host tweeted a joke comparing the US President to a cup of weak, black coffee.
AN ISRAELI TALK show host and wife of the country’s interior minister caused a stir yesterday when she tweeted a joke about US President Barack Obama.
Judy Mozes quickly deleted the tweet, which compared Obama to a cup of coffee, after a backlash from followers who accused her of being racist.

Mozes, who is married to the minister and current vice prime minister Silvan Shalom, then posted a series of tweets apologising and attempting to explain herself:

Her “stupid joke” came at a time when relations between the two countries are tense. However the talk show host is well known for her bizarre outbursts, regularly posting tweets and Facebook posts about a wide range of social and political issues.
This includes criticisms of Israel’s political left for what she perceives as a lack of patriotism. Netanyahu is also a regular target for her criticism.
