THE MOTHER OF Eoghan and Ruairí Chada will appear on the Late Late Show tonight.
Kathleen Chada’s husband Sanjeev was given two life sentences earlier this week for the murder of his sons Eoghan and Ruairí.
Tonight, Kathleen will talk to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show about the devastating death of her two children, who were aged 10 and five.
Speaking on the Pat Kenny show on Newstalk on Wednesday, she said that Eoghan (10) was “self aware”, while his younger brother Ruairí was a “little imp”.
Describing the day the boys went missing, she said:
We were a normal, ordinary family in my eyes. There were no red alerts.
There was nothing strange about him taking the boys out bowling. It wasn’t unusual at all.
She said she has not contacted Sanjeev since the murders, and that there is “no justification for what he did”.
Kathleen also said that she had received support and love from her family and community following the tragedy.
