The Bray boxer has confirmed plans to end her career after a final bout in Dublin.
KATIE TAYLOR IS planning to retire after one final fight in Dublin later this year.
“It has been an incredible, remarkable career and I always wanted to end it here in Ireland,” she told RTÉ Sport.
The Bray boxer hopes her farewell fight will take place this summer at Croke Park, but also mentioned the Aviva Stadium and 3Arena as potential venues.
The event would mark the end of one of Ireland’s most notable sporting careers, which Taylor herself described as “an amazing journey”.
