KIM KARDASHIAN HAS revealed she has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
She revealed the diagnosis in the premiere of season seven of The Kardashians, which was released on Disney+ yesterday.
In the episode, Kardashian undergoes an MRI which detects a “little aneurysm”, which she puts down to stress from her relationship with her former partner Kanye West.
While stress itself may not directly cause an aneurysm, it can increase blood pressure, which is a major risk factor.
She also said she developed psoriasis from the stress and that she felt as though she had Stockholm syndrome during her relationship with West.
West, who has legally changed his name to Ye, was banned from Australia over the summer due to a recent song glorifying Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
West and Kardashian had been married for eight years before their separation in 2022 and have four children together.
Brain aneurysms are relatively common and affect around one in every 50 people.
A brain aneurysm is a swelling in a blood vessel in the brain and they’re often found during a test for another condition.
If the aneurysm bursts it can cause a bleed on the brain, but this is rare.
Most brain aneurysms are small and do not cause symptoms.
But if you have a larger aneurysm, symptoms can include a headache, pain above or around your eye, changes in vision, dizziness, numbness or weakness on one side of your face, difficulty concentrating and speaking, and problems with short-term memory.
