GEORGE HOOK, BETTER known for his current affairs broadcasting and discussing his love life in detail, put on the dancing shoes for charity this evening.
And it was quite the sight.
The 74-year-old broadcaster, still nursing a knee replacement, decided to turn gangster for one night, and danced his best Charleston, all in the name of charity.
During a training montage he began calling himself a method actor and branding his dancing partner a “moll”, gangster slang for a girlfriend, commenting that he “wouldn’t give a shit about her” if it was the 1920s.
“She’s a low-life. She just gets shagged by the lads,” Hook said.
Then the dancing happened.
