MAYO HAS LONG claimed the Gallagher brothers as its own, and this week Liam was back to visit his mother’s homeland, Charlestown.
He’s already shown his support for the annual #Mayo4Sam campaign (essential):
And he’s generally just hanging around the town, acting like any local would.

Earlier this week, he took part in a traditional music session in JJ Finan’s pub in the town, playing what fans believe to be some new solo material.
The local auld lads watched on, giving the ‘arms folded, eyes closed’ seal of approval.
