Do you love the library as much as Roald Dahl's Matilda? Alamy Stock Photo

Do you borrow books from the library?

Are you a frequent visitor to your local library or do you rarely darken its doors?

A BOOK BORROWED 74 years ago was returned to Naas library staff over the weekend.

Naas Library and Cultural Centre said someone “stumbled upon it in their parent’s house” and returned it book on Saturday.

The deadline for its return had been 31 December 1951.

“Of course, there was no late fee,” said Kildare Library Service on social media.

So today we’re asking: Do you borrow books from the library?
