THE LUAS LINK BETWEEN Sandyford and Cherrywood will open on 16 October, the Dublin Observer reports. The opening of the Green Line’s 7.5km extension was announced today by the Railway Procurement Agency, which estimates it will add over 2m passenger journeys to the network. The new link will serve nine new stops, says the RPA.
