WITH TWO AND a half weeks to go until Christmas, a lot of people are buying extra food to stock up for the festive period.
Over the years, there have been lots of campaigns to encourage people to buy Irish.
The Irish Farmers’ Association has today asked people to check their lists twice (ho ho!) to make sure that they’re supporting Irish food companies and farmers – and warned that some brands use Irish-sounding names to give the impression that food comes from Ireland when it doesn’t actually.
