THE NATIONAL LOTTERY have revealed that the €93.9 million EuroMillions winning lotto ticket was sold in Mace on the Shantalla Road in Beaumont, Dublin 9.
The now multi-millionaire picked up the €6 ticket on the day of the draw, Tuesday, 25 June.
Last week, they headed to the National Lottery headquarters in Dublin to collect their winning cheque making them Ireland’s 96th richest person.
They have decided to remain anonymous but did issue a brief comment in a statement from the National Lottery.
“I’m absolutely thrilled. Dreams do come true! The news is still sinking in so for the moment I’d like to keep the win private,” they said. “I’m looking forward to thinking about all the opportunities that are now open to me. It’s a really exciting time!”
