The woman has been in a critical condition for over a week.

A MAN WHO was arrested after a woman was left in a critical condition after a potential hit and run in Clonsilla, Dublin last Sunday has been released.

The man, aged in his early 40s, was arrested yesterday after gardaí renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward on Saturday.

He was held in Blanchardstown Garda Station before being released from custody this morning.

A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
