GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a man as part of an investigation into the death of a man in his 70s who was found unresponsive on a street in Kilgarvan, Co Kerry last July.
The man, aged in his 60s, was detained at a Garda Station in Co Kerry under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He has since been released without charge.
A Garda spokesperson said investigations are ongoing and that a file will now be prepared for submission to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses who were in the Church Street area of Kilgarvan on 30 July 2025 to come forward.
