Man arrested in Kildare in relation to drug importing

GARDAÍ IN COUNTY KILDARE have this evening arrested a man on foot of a European Arrest Warrant in relation to alleged involvement in importing drugs into Ireland and the UK. The operation was carried out in cooperation with the UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency. He will appear in the High Court tomorrow morning in connection with the allegations.
