Man charged in Belfast in relation to 1970s sex offences

The 88-year-old man is due to appear in court next Wednesday.

DETECTIVES FROM THE PSNI Child Abuse Investigation Unit have charged an 88-year-old man with a number of serious sexual offences.

It is believed the charges relate to historical sexual abuse in West Belfast in the 1970′s.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 21 November and charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
