Man hospitalised after altercation in Galway

Gardaí say they are investigating an altercation that occurred at Rossaviel Pier at 4am.

A MAN IN his mid-20s is being treated for serious injuries today following an incident in Galway in the early hours of the morning.

Gardaí in Galway are investigating “an altercation” that occurred at Rossaveal Pier at 4am.

The injured man was taken to Galway University Hospital but was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

No arrests have been made.
