Man to appear in court in relation to multi-million euro cannabis seizure

A total of 120 kg of cannabis herb was seized in Coolock with an estimated street value of €2.5 million.

A MAN IN his early 40’s is to appear in court today in relation to a drugs seizure over the weekend amounting to over €2.5 million.

Following searches in Coolock, a total of 120 kg of cannabis herb seized was seized from one house.

The man was arrested under drug trafficking legislation and detained at Coolock Garda Station over the weekend.

He is scheduled to appear before Court Number 4 of the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning at 10.30am.
