Masked intruders assault man, breaking his arm

The PSNI is looking for information after the assault, which took place in Antrim early this morning

A MAN HAD his arm broken by two masked intruders who broke into a house in Antrim early this morning.

Detectives are appealing for information after a report of the assault at a house in the Corbally Drive, Antrim area at around 5.15am.

It was reported that two masked males, with one male believed to have been armed with a suspected firearm, forced their way into a property in the area through the front door.

A man was assaulted by the two males in a bedroom of the house, and it is believed he received head injuries and a badly broken arm during the incident.

Two other occupant of the house are not believed to have been injured during the incident, but were left badly shaken. The PSNI said that enquiries are continuing.
