Motorcyclist killed in collision at Wicklow Gap

The man crashed into a ditch at Military Road at around 10.30am this morning.

A MAN IN his thirties has died after his motorcycle collided with a ditch at Military Road in the Wicklow Gap.

The crash happened at about 10.30am this morning. The man was removed from the scene and taken to Loughlinstown Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Forensic investigators are at the scene are diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward. They can be contacted at Wicklow Garda Station on 0404 60140, or on the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111
