Open thread: who should be the Grand Marshal of Dublin's St Patrick's Day parade?

The Grand Marshal will be revealed tomorrow. Who do think it will be or who would you like it to be? Leave your answers in the comments section.

THE GRAND MARSHAL of Dublin’s massive St. Patrick’s Day parade will be revealed tomorrow morning.

Last year, Katie Taylor was chosen by the festival’s organisers for her “outstanding achievements and contribution to Irish life”.

Taking those criteria into account, who do you think should be the Grand Marshal for the 2012 parade?

The honour has also been bestowed upon Packie Bonner, Eamonn Coughlan and Micheál O Muircheartaigh – but the person does not have to be a sporting legend.
