THE POST-MORTEM has taken place on the body of Pat Deasy, who died after being critically injured during an altercation outside a pub in Cork.
The results have not yet been released to the garda press office.
Gardaí are investigating the serious assault on Deasy, which occurred at 12.55AM on 22 September at a pub on Avenue De Rennes, Mahon, Cork.
Yesterday it was confirmed that Deasy was pronounced dead at University Hospital Cork.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to an altercation that took place outside the Red Cove Inn in Mahon.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station in Cork city on 021 4522000.
